Panel #1: Supporting Working Parents
Coordinator(s): Meeghan Milette & Sara Heming

Panel Description:
Working parents managed the demands of juggling responsibilities of work and family life to then managing these areas of life during a pandemic over the last year. From experiencing the rapid pivoting of our work to the virtual world, to the shift in the management of their children’s education and full-time care, to the concern for the health and safety of family while the pandemic unfolded over the last year added stress and uncertainty to the lives of working parents. Every parent, child, and family are different, and this panel will celebrate the differences in their parenting and share their thoughts and perspectives, as we navigate the transition back to in person work and education for our kids from daycare to college. The panelist will share resources and support with attendees. With the monumental shifts that have taken place over the last year, finding community as working parents is one, we are excited to engage in with you. Hope you can attend!
